Commissions

We accept commissions as an extension of our art work. Commissions are approached as original works, developed in dialogue, never as customised products or biographical narratives. Each commission is considered individually.

  • All commissioned works are conceived as unique art pieces.

While a commission may respond to a specific space or context, the artistic direction, materials and final form remain part of our authorship. We do not replicate existing works, adapt previous pieces, or create personalised narratives based on individuals.

The work is developed within the same conceptual and material framework as our non-commissioned practice.

  • We consider commissions that involve:

    . Sculptural works

    . Site-specific pieces

    . Installations

. Works responding to architectural or spatial contexts

  • . Biographical or portrait-based commissions

. Works intended to represent specific individuals or personal histories

    . Decorative or functional objects

. Requests for stylistic imitation or replication

  • Each commission follows a clear and respectful process.

    Initial conversation

We discuss the space, scale, context and practical constraints.

    Proposal

A written proposal is shared, including concept, estimated timeline and budget range.

    Agreement & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm the commission.

    Development

The work is created over an agreed period. Progress updates may be shared at our discretion.

    Completion & Delivery

The remaining balance is due before collection or delivery.

  • Commissioned works are created with trust.

Once the proposal is approved, we do not offer revisions based on personal taste or aesthetic preference. The final outcome reflects our practice and artistic decisions.

This is essential to protect the integrity of the work.

  • Pricing reflects:

    . Scale and complexity

    . Materials

    . Time and research

    . Technical requirements

    . Installation (when applicable)

  • Timelines vary depending on scale and complexity.

Estimated delivery times are discussed in advance but may shift due to the nature of artistic production.

We do not accept urgent or fixed-deadline commissions.

  • Shipping, transport, insurance and installation costs are not included unless stated otherwise.

International commissions may require additional handling and customs arrangements.

  • All commissioned works are signed DOLLETTE and may be documented for our archive, website or publications.

We retain the right to photograph and share the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We reserve the right to decline any commission request that does not align with our practice, values or availability.
